The Fountain Translation in Hindi

Piece – 1

Into the sunshine,
Full of the light,
Leaping and flashing
From morn till night!

Hindi Translation – कवि फव्वारे को देखकर कहता है कि फव्वारा सूर्य के प्रकाश में बड़े जोर के साथ उछलते हुए तथा चमकते हुए सुबह से रात तक अपना कार्य करता रहता है |

Piece – 2

Into the moonlight,
Whiter than snow.
Waving so flower-like,
When the winds blow!

Hindi Translation – कवि चन्द्रमा के प्रकाश में फव्वारे का वर्णन करते हुए कहता है की चांदनी रात में फव्वारा हिम से भी अधिक सफ़ेद दिखाई पड़ता है और जब हवाएं चलती हैं, तब यह फूलों क तरह हिलता हुआ दिखाई पड़ता है |

Piece – 3

Into the starlight,
Rushing in spray,
Happy at midnight,
Happy by day!

Hindi Translation – कवि कहता है की फव्वारा तारों की रोशनी में तेजी से चलता हुआ फुहारें फेंक रहा है | वह आधी रात के समय भी दिखाई देता है और दिन के समय भी प्रसन्न है |

Piece – 4

Ever in motion,
Blithesome and cheery,
Still climbing heavenward,
Never a weary;

Hindi Translation –  कवि कहता है कि फव्वारा सदैव गतिशील और प्रसन्न रहता है | वह सदैव उपर की ओर चलता है | अपने कार्य से कभी नहीं थकता है | (अर्थात सदैव अपना कार्य करते रहता है)

Piece – 5

Glad of all weathers,
Still seeming best,
Upward or downward
Motion thy rest;

Hindi Translation – कवि कहता है कि फव्वारा हर मौसम में हमेशा प्रसन्न दिखाई पड़ता है | कभी उपर की ओर जाता है और कभी नीचे की ओर आता है | लगातार चलता ही रहता है; उसकी गति ही उसका आराम है |

Piece – 6

Full of nature
Nothing can tame,
Changed every moment,
Ever the same

Hindi Translation – कवि कहता है कि फव्वारे की प्रकृति हमेशा चलते रहने की है | कोई भी वस्तु उसे पालतू नहीं बना सकती अर्थात कार्य करते रहने से नहीं रोक सकती | यद्यपि यह प्रत्येक क्षण बदलता है, फिर भी सदैव वैसा ही रहता है |

Ceaseless aspiring,
Ceaseless content,
Darkness or sunshine,
Thy element;

Hindi Translation – कवि कहता है की फव्वारा सदैव उपर की ओर ही चलता है किन्तु यह अपनी प्रगति से संतुष्ट है | चाहे दिन हो या रात, उसका स्वभाव ज्यों का त्यों ही रहता है अर्थात इसके कार्य करने के ढंग में परिवर्तन नहीं होता है |

Glorious fountain!
Let my heart be
Fresh, changeful, constant,
Upward like thee!

Hindi Translation – फव्वारे को संबोधित करते हुए कवि कहता है कि शानदार फव्वारे! मेरी मेरी इच्छा है कि मेरा ह्रदय भी तुम्हारी तरह ताजा, परिवर्तनशील, दृढ और श्रेष्ठतर चीजों को प्राप्त करने वाला हो!

Ans. In the moonlight, the fountain looks whiter than snow.

(चांदनी में फव्वरा हिम (बर्फ) से अधिक सफ़ेद प्रतीत होता है)

Ans. The colour of the fountain is white in the moonlight.

Ans. In the sunshine, the fountain is leaping and flashing. It is full of energy while in the moonlight it looks whiter than snow. It is constant at night.

(सूर्य की रौशनी में फव्वरा उछलता तथा चमकता है | यह उर्जा से भरपूर रहता है जबकि चंद्रमा की चांदनी में यह हिम से भी अधिक सफ़ेद दिखता है | यह रात को स्थिर रहता है)

(जब हवाएं चलती हैं तो फव्वारे को क्या होता है?)

Ans. When the winds blow, the fountain waves like a flower.

(जब हवाएं चलती हैं तब फव्वारा फुल के समान लहराता है)

Q1. How can you say that the fountain is always happy?

(आप कैसे कह सकते हिं कि फव्वारा सदैव प्रसन्न रहता है?)

Ans. The fountain is joyfully busy in moving up all th whole day and night. It indicates that it is always happy.

(फव्वारा ख़ुशी-ख़ुशी दिन-रात उपर की ओर उठता है | अत: कहा जा सकता है वह सदैव प्रसन्न रहता है)

Q2. How can you say that the fountain is never tired?

(आप कैसे कह सकते हिं कि फव्वारा कभी नहीं थकता है?)

Ans. The fountain is joyfully moving up all the whole day and night. It indicates that it is never tired.

(फव्वारा ख़ुशी-ख़ुशी दिन-रात उपर की ओर उठता है | अत: कहा जा सकता है वह कभी नहीं थकता है)

Ans. “Still climbing heavenward” is meant that the fountain always climbs in the upward direction.

Ans. In the starlight, the fountain is happy rushing in the spray.

Ans. The fountain remains blithesome and cheery in motion.

(फव्वारा गति के समय, प्रसन्न और प्रफुल्लित रहता है)

(फव्वारा किस दिशा में चलता है?)

Ans. The fountain moves upward and downward.

(फव्वारा उपर की ओर तथा नीचे की ओर चलता है)

Q3. How can you say that the fountain remains glad in all weathers?

(आप कैसे कह सकते हैं कि फव्वारा प्रत्येक मौसम में प्रसन्न रहता है?)

Ans. The fountain is always busy in moving upward and in moving down. It always appears to be at rest so we can say that the fountain remains glad in all weathers.

(फव्वारा सदैव उपर की ओर जाने तथा नीचे की ओर आने में व्यस्त है | वह सदैव ऐसा दिखाई देता है मानों आराम में हो इसलिए हम कह सकते हैं कि फव्वारा प्रत्येक मौसम में प्रसन्न रहता है)

Q4. What does the poet mean by saying, “Motion thy rest”?

(“Motion thy rest” कहने का से कवि का क्या तात्पर्य है?)

Ans. The fountain never takes rest. It always moves upward and downward. It always remains is motion. Motion is its rest.

(फव्वारा कभी विश्राम नहीं करता है | यह हमेशा कभी उपर तो कभी नीसह बहता रहता है | यह हमेशा गतिमान रहता है | गति ही इसका विश्राम है)

Q5. “Changed every moment, ever the same” Explain it.

(“Changed every moment, ever the same” को परिभाषित कीजिए)

Ans. That means that although fountain keeps on changing every moment it looks ever the same. It is constant in every situation.

(इसका तात्पर्य है कि यद्यपि फव्वारा परिवर्तनशील है फिर भी सदैव एक समान ही प्रतीत होता है | यह प्रत्येक परिस्थिति में दृढ रहता है)

Q6. What is meant by “nothing can tame”?

(“nothing can tame” से क्या तात्पर्य है?)

Ans. “Nothing can tame” is meant that the fountain is full of great energy and nothing can control it.

(“nothing can tame” से तात्पर्य है कि फव्वारा अधिक उर्जा से भरा हुआ है और इसे कोई भी चीज नियंत्रित नहीं कर सकती)

(फव्वारा “सदैव एकसमान” कैसे रहता है?)

Ans. The fountain remains “ever the same” because water goes up and down a measured quantity.

Ans. Ceaseless aspiring, ceaseless content, darkness and sunshine are the elements of the fountain.

(लगातार उपर की ओर चलते रहना, लगातार अपनी प्रगति से संतुष्ट रहना, अंधकार और प्रकाश में कार्य करते रहना फव्वारे के तत्व हैं)

Ans. The poet wishes to adopt the qualities of freshness, changefulness and Constance.

Ans. The poet advised us that we should keep ourselves always fresh and changing but steady. We should always look towards higher things. We should work hard from morning till night and should never feel tired.

Ans. Like the changeful fountain, we have ups and downs in our life, but we should move forward with firmness like the constant fountain.
